I know Dale (through dance aerobic classes) and have seen her artwork in-person displayed at various shows. I love the textured stuff! The discussion of her process and techniques was interesting and enlightening. In addition, I learned about things in her eclectic background of which I had been unaware. Nice interview of a talented artist, Amy.
I really enjoyed this interview and the sampling of Dale's work. So interesting to learn a bit of what goes on inside an artist's head while they create. Her paintings are really beautiful. I especially love the lilac painting for her mom; it's stunning. Thanks for a thoughtful interview.
Beautiful color and pattern in Dale's work. Not surprising that she is a Frankenthaler fan. I believe she was also very physical when she painted. I've never heard of a "clothesline" law! I, too, love making Geli prints. They involve much serendipity. Thanks for a great interview.
Thanks Vicki! I'm excited to try making Gelli prints after seeing the end results in Dale's work and learning that the process is nonintimidating, and as you say, serendipitous.

Thanks Bonnie! I like Dale's textured paintings too. I'm glad you liked reading about her her process and techniques.
What a lovely interview with a lovely painter and person. Her inner beauty shows through in her work. Thank you!
Thank you Cheryl!
